... a regional train run by Trenord to Desenzano (1.5 hours) , and from Desenzano catch a bus to Verona which drops you at Sirmione (20-30 minutes). Cost of train is 9.20 Euros and bus ticket is 1.80 Euros per person. While your return take a bus to Brescia from Sirmione bus-stop, which costs the same 1.8 Euros. Take the bus-tickets from ticket counters close to bus-stop because in the bus ticket charges double (3.60 ...

... tired so we headed back to the hotel after a stop at a grocery store for some snacks. A couple hours to relax and we went out for dinner at a restaurant just around the corner from our hotel. The Cangrande Restorante & Enoteca proved to be one of the best places we have eaten at so far on our trip. The owner spent time with us and suggested several things to try. His wife brought us each out a small bowl of Risotto to welcome us. When asked where we ...

... four hours spent wandering around went quickly with the many stops we made. We found ourselves hungry and stopped near our hotel for dinner at a small restaurant for an okay dinner of spaghetti con vongole (spaghetti with clams) and risotto with shrimp. Not worth recommending but the waiters were friendly and humorous.

Back to our hotel about seven after a fun day of Vino in Verona.
