We get to te airport excited to leave and have to wait to check in. I use every bathroom in the terminal and Marlin got felt up by the cleaning lady who would make a pass every 10 minutes to get a look at him. There was poking and patting. We were at the check-in counter and we asked to have our bags checked all the way through to Melbourne. "No!" Is what we got. Okay lady, we are flying through Hong Kong " no!" We are getting so excited. This morning Marlin updated our itinerary and we started making lists...I love LISTS!! We fly out Wednesday afternoon, so I have some time to get last minute things if necessary! Our trip is 16 days that will include 6 tours, 8 flights, 9 hotels, 1 rental car, one ferry ride and a lifetime of memories! We hope you enjoy our trip as much as we will! ... and just like our last intra-china flight - with no announcement whatsoever, they started boarding about 15 minutes early. We see the Chinese flying through first because they have soooo many carry-ons with them - they want the overhead space. Our guide says: "It can't be our flight" but then he goes and talks to them and says "Everyone onboard!" ... where the actual meeting took place. It was filled with interesting memorabilia from that era. A side trip down a nearby street of Lamborghini, McLaren and other fancy car dealerships made Joerg extremely happy! After a relaxing lunch outside in the sun we needed, well more relaxation! ... ever dream of on a stick. we passed on the sticks of meat, but we all tried some mahaun, sweet or spicy, fried goodness like a cookie. They were really good. I got some of the spicy ones to bring home.

Next we went for lunch at the second best noodle place in Chongqing. The best noodle place is known only to locals and is a bit outside of town. The noodles were yummy and the company was even better! Check out the pic of Bai Fey ...
