We are in Spain! Found a camping site in Barcelona for tonight and tomorrow to celebrate New Year's Eve. Can't wait to shower and do laundry! (After boondocking in parking lots and "Aires" - essentially roadside rest stops - in France for several days, anything with real showers and toilets feels like a palace!) Spanish classes are going pretty well. I actually enjoy having to get up and do something productive. Our class is great and my classmates are easy going, always having jokes etc. I bought a coat yesterday, European clothes are a lot nicer than the ones in Canberra. Let's see how the day pans out ...

I honestly don't know how people aren't fat here, they eat SO much sugary food, and also a **** load of oil. I would say they go through 4 litres of oil in a couple of months. The scenery is beautiful, everyone is friendly and it just has a nice feel about it. There are beautiful houses everywhere, I suppose this motivates me to get an amazingly high paid job so I can travel a lot ...

... a movie, finally not in Spanish! We had a nice lunch, finally with vegetables. That's what I miss most about cooking for myself, how healthy I could make it. The afternoon was relaxed, I had a bit of a headache, but I still played with Andreu and also studied some ******* computing. I'm hating slightly how I have an exam after my amazing winter, but I guess when I'm doing it I feel slightly productive. I've been talking to ...
