Today was just supposed to be a setup day, where we travel to Boise to be ready for tomorrow's whitewater rafting. We had planned at stopping at the Shoshone Ice Cave, but frankly it wasn't supposed to be that great. Then Jody's Mom, Joan, chimed in with ...

... several hours of waiting when the temp is now approaching 102 or 103, his name is called - now about 4 hours later. Out he goes to perform his skills.Passed with flying colors and only a little sweat. So now he has a real temporary (paper photocopy looking thing) motorcycle license and is informed the real one will come in the mail within 2 weeks. We had to leave so Ted has been driving Sparky on a half-baked paper motorcycle license until now.

Rolled out of Boise around 10am. ******* traffic on Eagle road was backed up because of some railroad bed rock piled across the road at the rail crossing. Pretty smooth sailing up through Banks. However from Banks to Lowman we ran into traffic stoppages due to some road ...
