... from the 1800's. The ceilings are high and there is a different, ornate crown molding in each room. The apartment is very large and well furnished. There are porcelain fireplaces in two of the rooms. We had a delicious Swedish dinner prepared by our host.
I asked Anna why there are lamps in the windows of most Swedish homes or apartments. She didn't know but we have decided it is because of the long dark winters.

It was only 9 miles from our anchorage to Kungsviken and we found ourselves looking for a slot by 11:00. Now in the pilot books it describes the harbour as a Guest Harbour but with only 6 places or to be precise, 6+ spaces. What this means is that there are 6 guest slots if all the private ones are occupied but ...
