        ... countries, where speaking like this at work would just not stick. But this is Sweden. Formality is pretty much a thing of the past. What I like most about the Swedish language is although it has a formal tense, it is rarely used. Unlike for example German. People greeting each other with a simple "Hej", tells you all you need to know about the Swedes, like the furniture in Ikea, they are simple and unfussy.

        Well I'm now safely in Sweden. One think I did learn is that TSA royally sucks and that maybe the Norwegian airport security should teach them how it's done. I say this because all of the checkpoints at LAX (including a manual bag search) and TSA still missed the pocket knife that was in the side pocket of my backpack (but the powdered pre-workout I had with me was nearly considered a threat - I kid you not). Granted I did not intentionally have the knife on me ...

        ... square, saw the church where Jean Bapististe Bernadotte was chosen to be king. The church is a simple church next to the many grand churches we’ve seen.

        We went back to the campground for another dinner by the lake.

        So now it was time to head south, back to Brussels. This would be about a 14 hour drive with a stop in Copenhagen.

        ... who were to babysit our "home" for 2 weeks. David drove us to the station where we got train to Arlanda and flew via Heathrow to Newcastle. Hire car to the cottage in Northumbria for 2 weeks with my sister Theresa and brother in law David (who arrived Monday after scaling several more Monroes (mountains) in Scotland the previous week.
