... we enjoyed a cup of our favourite tea, Masala Chai. It went down a treat after the hard slog up from Grindelwald! Then we took the 111m high lift that takes you up to the viewing platforms. This lift is the fastest in Switzerland - takes just 27 seconds to send you to paradise!!
... and also saw some kitsch displays then caught a lift to the Sphinx Terrace. This was amazing. We ascended fast and were able to go outside to enjoy the majestic view. Part of the terrace was closed due to icicles and heavy snow falling from the observatory, so although we couldn't walk around the whole 360degree terrace we thoroughly enjoyed the panoramic views we saw.
