... opposite the Matterhorn, I called Dad, before braving more of the hairy decent. Actually, much of the track was perfect and very enjoyable. But these enjoyable moments often get overshadowed. Like but the 1 hour of (very unexpected) uphill we had to endure. Yep, we were hurting by the top. (And don't tell anyone, but I don't think we rode all that much of the up).

We extend our day another stay and almost consider not leaving for the rest of the trip (but Italy, Germany, and Austria will be amazing, we’re sure of it). ... people were hiking...and here we are huffing and puffing away. So far, the weather has been outstanding- about 70's during the day. The lake was beautiful...once we reached it, we sat down and ate a light lunch while enjoying the view. We are looking forward to a nap & a nice fondue dinner tonight with some champagne ...
