... Switzerland. Access to the peak is by aerial tramway. Again from Wikipedia: the aerial tramway Luftseilbahn Schwägalp-Säntis is one of the most frequented tramways in Switzerland. It has a total length of 2307 meters. The altitude gain between the terminals is 1123 meters. The journey takes roughly 8 minutes. The first tramway was constructed from 1933 to 1935. Sun 7/27-tues 7/29 Sunday it was still raining as we drove out of Switzerland, drove through Lichtenstein and Austria, ending up in Meersburg, Germany on the Bodensee, the largest lake in Europe bordered by Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Oh and the Sun shone!

At the airport we were left stranded from 10.25 till after 11. A girl at the information office rang the hotel and we got there about 11.30 and 90 zloty poorer. The receptionist was apologetic but had no reason for the stuff up. Our room was large and the bathroom ...

Tuesday in Trullikon

The rain that started on Monday afternoon was predicted to last for another 24 hours. This would impact on our plans to visit the Rhinefalls and also the meeting with Judith. Leonie had an appointment to see Renate's doctor for a check up at 9.30. The doctor checked Leonie's chest and provided some medications including a nasal spray. The risk of pneumonia had ...
