Up early to a very hot van. We slept with the door open as there's just no breeze at the moment and left Prego in the awning. I brought her in at half 5 as it was starting to get warm and she's pretty confined in her box. We showered and breakfasted then went for a stroll with Prego. By 10 she was already too hot in the shade so I nipped to Caramobil, awesome caravan / motorhome shop just next door to the site, for a paddling pool. She wasn't particularly keen on getting in ...

... fire prevention and firefighting techniques. There is now a museum dedicated to the history of
firefighting. We had a look around that and a few of the other things to see that we hadn’t seen on the tour, like the various (very upmarket) craft shops including a goldsmith and shoe maker.
Once we felt we had seen everything, we headed back to the campsite to pick up our swimming gear and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and cooling off in the Schlosssee.

Up early for a quick last Black Forest bike ride then a cooling dip for Prego as we need to keep her body temp down before getting in the van. A last Langenwald swim for Jon then quick tidy and off. We were really sad to leave this place. It's the longest we've been in one town and it's where we saw mum and dad so it was a little like saying goodbye to them again.... But better to leave feeling we could've stayed longer. We definitely will not miss the ...

We arrived at Campingpark Papiermühle, ACSI 781 (unlimited (awesome) showers, unlimited electric, allocated pitch 73 but we ended up moving to 75 as our power lead wouldn't stretch). It seems to be the thing in Germany that power boxes supply numerous pitches. We've been used to sites in most other campsites in all the countries so far having individual electric and water per pitch. It's not the end of the world, but means we ...

Up early so Jon could train before departure. We got tidied away and gave Prego a run before we set off. We drove to Bodensee (Lake Constance) to do a recce for the week after mum and dad have been. It was annoyingly sunny for the drive and then wet when we stopped! What should have been about an hour's drive ended up being nearly three ...
