... flu. My parents got it first therefore they could understand my suffering quite well. But now, I feel better and I can spend time on more enjoyable things like trying Christmas cookies, emptying my first Santa Claus bag (with many mandarins and no peanuts!) or marvel at the heavy snowfall. Soon, I will celebrate my first Christmas and first New Year :)!

Hey Yaira, du bist schon ¾-jährig; da kommen wir wieder einmal zu Wort. Du entwickelst dich weiter tipptopp. Du hast Energie für 3 und hältst uns ganz schön auf Trab. Du bist kriechend auf allen Vieren ein kleiner Speedy Conzales, so dass wir gegen das Treppenhaus überall Gitter montieren mussten. Auch sonst ist nichts mehr sicher vor dir. Du ziehst dich überall hoch, stehst schon kurze Zeit frei, bevor du wieder auf deine Windel ...
Es kann losgehen - Abflug in die Flittermonate!
... Silvia Burren überrascht, welche beim Zoll (gleich ein paar Meter dem Starbucks Cafe) schon seit ei***** Zeit auf uns wartet. Sie hatte uns schon zweimal angerufen, aber da noch ein wichtiger Download abgeschlossen werden musste, wollen wir sicherheitshalber das Telefon nicht abnehmen... Solche Probleme hatte man zu Zeiten "normaler" Handys noch nicht gehabt... ...
Wir liebe Lara (we love Lara)
... Deutsch activities: cruising down to Kaufland (famous for its 1€ bratwurst), having Kaffee and Kuchen (coffee and cake), visiting the source of the Danube river; and of course, playing with Lara at every opportunity. By the end of the second day, Lara was recognizing Aunty Susie and by the end the first week, Uncle Adrian too! The weather has been challenging. Cold and many days of rain, may have dampen our outdoor activities but not our enthusiasm! ...
At the airport, ready for take-off
At Zurich airport, my adventure has finally begun. Everything went smoothly, I even got some unexpected company...after one last Swiss beer with Antonio, I took off to Dubai at 22:15 pm. Not yet knowing that I am going to have my life's worst airport experience, but meet a friend to suffer together with ;)
