... makes it almost impossible to throw out trash (there is a 4 page manual on how to throw out trash and you have to buy special bags that cost $25 francs for 5), but ensures that the public transportation and train system is amazing and always right on schedule - to the second.

Also, the entire country closes on Sunday, which isn't very good when you arrive on a Sunday with no food - let's say I was a little hangry to say the least, but ...

Looks like I'm getting back on track, and I can see the sizeable town of Bludunz up ahead. But first, snuggled up next to it on the hillside is the town of Nuziders. Here I pause for a strum session in a mini park with an old fashioned well--noticing what looks like a Turkish family leaving their very Austrian looking home across the street.

No "immigrant ghettos" here in Nuziders...

I continue down a peaceful country path up the valley, past lush grassy fields and little forest groves. One unique thing here are little wooden huts scattered throughout the fields.
