... shape feet wise and need to see a blister specialist here we think. Tomorrow we will only walk 5 to 6 hours again as that seems to be our breaking point. I including pics from last couple of days! We just said goodbye to Rosa as she has decided to take a train tomorrow to the final 100km before the end. She says her bones just cannot take the daily grind of walking for so long. We will miss her greatly and are sad to see her ...

... hiked, an older Spanish speaking woman slipped and fell on the trail in the gravel. Norm helped out as we were first on the scene. Another gentleman ran off to get ice, and someone who identified himself as a therapist began to examine her. We left at that point thinking she was in good hands. ... with storks (yes), kites and eagles (yes) overhead at various stages. I find it very interesting thinking about the different styles of cultivation in each field - well I do have a lot of time on my hands. Each farmer seems to have a different style of pruning and training the vines. Or maybe the grape variety or budget dictates that. With the wind and a little rain, it was a day for music. ... of the church. We are in many places with connections to the Knights Templar, and the seating in this loft felt like it might have been a place for that kind of use. In fact, there was a back stairwell that we followed up and down that got us into the loft area.

... a five star hotel and I am surprised at the complaining.

Tonight I am in a very simple hostel. It is the original parish hostel adjoining the church of Santa Maria y San Pedro. There are 24 beds and payment is by donation. I think the people who have chosen to stay in these minimal quarters will be a bit more respectful, tolerant and grateful.
