... the turning leaves. Perfect weather and great company. Pepe didn't miss a beat (at 84). The boys said their favorite parts of the hike were the times they were walking solo, talking with Pepe or Lorenzo. Commenced today's at 8am in the rain. It was the first rain we have experienced whilst walking and fortunately it was not heavy. Lasted 2 hours or so and allowed to test the poncho for leaks and to ensure that the waterproof shoes are indeed that. Both checked out okay. ... Leon they came across a very distraught pilgrim. He said he had lost his money, cards and passport and had no money to stay anywhere. He was really distraught. Brian however was cautious and said go to your embassy, he seemed to be German, and didn;t give him any money. We got a later start out of Granon since we stayed for breakfast. Walked the first few km with Sara and Sabrae from Texas. Nice girls that people miss took for Kim and Alyssa while we were in Granon. The walk was hard, feet still hurt even with new insoles. But we did make it by 12:30 to our alb. We stayed in Cuatro Cantones which was nice and has a kitchen, garden and pool! We paid for girls beds and they arrived around 3:30. Stew and I decided to site see a bit around town ...
