    Almost packed , house almost ready, Neighbors and friends have invited us out to their homes for our last three dinners, in Buckhorn, how wonderful. Beer fridge emptied and defrosted, standup freezer emptied and defrosted. Ozzi packed and excited . Four inches of clean white snow, has fallen to remind us that shoveling is dangerous and not fun.     ... Bay turned off to Hwy 102 lots of homes off this highway on the Lake Superior side. Passed many lakes saw a chap boat fishing on Mud Lake. Scenery now is very much like Jasper and Banff National Park.

    Stopped at Thunder Bay (population of 109,000) for coffee break and stretch at the International Taiji Park on Lake Superior took some photos and video. Stocked up on more provisions ...

    ... the highway, the sky was clear.

    We drove for awhile, saw an antique store, and decided to stop. Mom bought an old fishing basket, and I saw some cool stuff, but bought nothing. There was an old amber colored jar, which I have read is quite rare, but they wanted $100 for it, so apparently they knew its worth. I want to find one for pennies at a yard sale or something. They had two Ball jars, but they were expensive, and the rest of the jars I found ...

    ... the bag arrived! Linda stayed in the FBO pilots' lounge catching up on admin and e-mails. As lunchtime approached we were able to borrow a pick-up truck and head to the bookstore. The charts were ready and waiting at the cashier’s desk, excellent service. The rain was beginning to ease as we stopped off en-route to the airport for a bite to eat.
