      At Hornepayne, they let you get off the train for about 20 minutes of fresh air . . . but fresh air ain't free . . . we had to make our way to the center of the train, as there was no siding, so they could help you down some very steep steps . . . Carol navigated them, but it wasn’t easy . . . don’t think she would do that next time.       ... haven't yet destroyed the fragile and graceful Humpback whale. They still are only threatened/endangered.
      These magnificent creatures use the ocean around the Hawaiian islands as their yearly calving grounds and we hope to be fortunate enough to witness some of that - not from a power boat, zodiac, or even kayak but from our carefully researched ocean front porch or 'lanai'.

      ... the bag arrived! Linda stayed in the FBO pilots' lounge catching up on admin and e-mails. As lunchtime approached we were able to borrow a pick-up truck and head to the bookstore. The charts were ready and waiting at the cashier’s desk, excellent service. The rain was beginning to ease as we stopped off en-route to the airport for a bite to eat.
