We stopped at a road side turn off where we have been many times in the past. It was to be our last meal before reentering the 'Rat Race'. We are 1/2 an hour from home at this point!!!
It has been a great trip and planning the next already!! It has been great sharing our trip with everyone. We experienced some problems with pinning our route so it looks like we were all over the place, in fact we really were!!!! Till next time!
... we couldn't even go for a walk… and the deer flies have been horrid! We were visited by a family of coons after we had hobos. Barry broke his broomstick trying to scare them away. Cell service good 3 bars Privacy good, flat and lots of shade Arrived Friday, no issues. Weather was nice, a bit cool at night. Set up, had a nice fire and a few drinks! Totals Miles driven on this trip is 6362. We drove east along Lake Ontario to the St. Lawrence River then about 30 miles up River to Wellesley Island State Park which requires us to cross over a long, high, and narrow highway bridge. Along the way we first drove out to a secluded Long Point State Park along Lake Ontario, but the sites were not too level and it was pretty isolated so we continued on another hour over back roads to Wellesley.
