Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany garretaIt was sooooo cold in Frankfurt, we didn't want to spend much time here since we had no winter clothing. WE got in late, went to our hotel, then back to the airport to get our flight to Bangkok moved up. We though it would be at 8 that night, but they managed to get us on the next flight out, which was pretty much within the hour. Woohooo! I also kept speaking Italian in Germany... so confused with all the languages.
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany sofenjon... be proud; I think time almost stopped in the Christmas store. It was so sparkly and festive, a very happy place.

I wisely saved Philsophenweg for the next day, allowing a little rest from the stair master treatment. The path starts with a monkey guarding the old bridge, which was mobbed by Japanese tourists snapping photos every time I passed by. The mobs thinned to a trickle by the end of the bridge ...
Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany wilwayco... was quite friendly and helpful while he walked me through the purchasing process and the requirements. That is, he was kind until I could not locate my wallet. What a fiasco - he could not stop the transaction as he already rang me up and with each new person getting in line behind me, my panic rose and rose. I couldn't find my wallet anywhere. I gave up and just said, "I am so sorry" as I quickly walked away leaving my poor cashier to ...

It was in the middle of the red light district, but it was suitable and close to the train station. After we checked in, we found a phone to call Nadine and Flo. Nadine is a cousin of Chad's brother-in-law, and Flo is her boyfriend.

They met us at the train station in two separate cars and drove us back to their ...
Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany the_stamms... food places display their menus in the front window) so we ordered our americanized "Snacks" and drank our milkshakes and asked for the bill. The waiter brought it over (16.30 Euros) and Jamie handed him a 20. He looked at it, then Jamie like he was waiting for him to say keep the change - Yea right! He then opened his little belt bag (they dont have a till, only their belt bags) and said he needed change, then paused a little more. We just looked at him like "you aint keepin the ...
Frankfurt, Germany jamie_anneka... the bar we went to had pints of Newcastle as well. I was a little shocked to see a good deal of people out late night on a Tuesday. I'll have to keep that in mind for when I get back to Germany for good. Needless to say I passed out at Casey's house that night with a belly full of great food and drink. A great end to a very long day. A fantastic way to kick off a vacation with friends. Thanks guys. You're the best!
Bensheim, Germany jimmy_k... I miss Baidi. I want to be with her instantly. I miss my family. I would like them all to get me from the airport. Impossible. Childish dreams of family reunion. I would like to visit my mothers. All of them. I would like to have a peaceful party when I get home. I would like to go back to Georgia. As soon as the plane took off the ground, I wanted to get out and stay. As the aircraft rose into the sky, the sun shone ...
