... as I loaded her back down. ;) She's been a trooper! She even got a shower today in the rain. YES, RAIN!!! It did not snow today. Today is the day I get to say, "I did NOT see snow falling from the sky!" God bless it! May it happen again tomorrow.

... the beginning of unexplored territory for us. We drove through all new areas heading west. Our lunch stop was in an interstate rest area that had incredible scenic views of the Pennsylvania mountains. For the night we pulled into a beautiful state park in Maryland; only one area of the park was open this time of year. We walked around the park to the aviary to see their collection of raptor birds. ... not to keen on heights and as it turned out, this was her greatest challenge. As we entered the POD, and we have a picture of one, she looked and talked like she was nervous. Then as the POD ascended she really started to become uncomfortable. I have never seen this look of fear on her face before.
