... We were leaving the next day so it wasn’t much use to us. But Peter spotted another trip going out that day (in 15 minutes) so we asked if we could go on that, grabbed a coffee and of we went again and had good sighting of 5 Dolphins. They offer a trip where you can swim with the Dolphins but unless you are a super Olympic swimmer I am not sure how you could manage this as they were not hanging around.

When we returned the town was spookily quiet. ...

We didn't quite know what to do with ourselves as it was so big. We went a bit mad and got the stuff we needed which was fine. We walked back and it was freeeeeezing cold. We decided upon a nice bottle of white to accompany our lunch. I could get used to this! Lunch was amazing. The kids had fish, Mike had a chicken, ...

... 4pm by the time we left the city center, and we decided to drive to the suburb of Sumner as it was recommended to us again by the Laings. It was quite a trek, as many of the roads we wanted to take were closed and there was lots of construction. It was a very hilly, windy, drive, but the view was spectacular. It was especially pretty as the sun was setting (see pictures).

We arrived back at the Laings around 6pm and ...

... Jan, we are staying 3 nights in a spare bedroom with our OWN bed – this is an uncommonly luxurious couchsurfing sleeping arrangement. Tonight we cooked together, drank Czech beer, and watched a movie in his living room. Jan has to work every day until 4pm, but he gave a set of keys to the apartment so we can come and go as we please. Seems pretty trsuting, right? Not all hosts give their surfers keys to the home, but many do! Jan invited us to make ourselves at home ...
