... way up and hopefully meet some people and just have a good time really. I don't think we'll be doing any 30km walks in Oz. Chilling on the beach in the day and drinking at night is the plan! It will also be nice to have a hot shower everyday, not having to wee in a bush and having wifi more than once every two or three days. Although the thought of living out of a backpack again isn't filling us with too much joy. Six weeks of fun left! Speak to you down under! Rob and Chelsea ...

... dinner on Tuesday. We're enjoying the grill and the outdoors as much as we can as Fall is officially upon us and who knows how many more 70 degree days we have left. This weekend we are looking forward to our first Color Run and our first rugby game! Lots to look forward to, but still a Friday workout to get through.

Hope everyone back in the states is enjoying the glimpse of Spring. Winter is almost over ... or almost here ... depending on which side of the equator you're ...

... but I know I will pay for it when the fines session comes around this evening. Flaxton finish their 40 overs at 8/183 and we feel pleased with our efforts in the second half of their innings.

I am down to bat at number 9 today and as it turns out I don’t get to bat at all. David Russell, John Dedman and Murray Harrison all retire at 30 and with Eric, Stirling and Bob ...

... the white pristine sands and clear blue waters breathed perfection, I was somewhat dismayed and angered by the huge amounts of rubbish, which littered the beach. I was amazed by the tourists who lay there sunbathing, oblivious to the fact they were lying on a rubbish dump. Literally it was almost impossible to find an area not covered in plastic bottles and sweet wrappers. The sight of an area such as this spoilt by human ignorance almost drove me to despair, I fail ...

The other plus for those catching planes is that the Centre has a number of lockers for hire at a reasonable price ($3.50 for 3 hours) which means you can look around without worrying about your luggage.

Afterwards we went to the Airport and caught the plane to Queenstown - Courtney was lucky enough to get a window seat again. More about Queenstown in the next installment.
