Road-tripping round NZ in a painter's van

As I said in my NZ 'rugby' blog, I managed to see a fair bit of this awesome country in-between following the Boks round. Having our own transport; read blue & purple painter's van with a $3 mattress from the Salvation Army, made all the difference (both in terms of affordability & ease of getting around) & it was incredible living out of a van for 2 mths.

... a waiting game at the minute. We fly on Saturday, Friday night your time.. and are just counting down the hours until we can get into the sunshine!

... in and out of the kitchen were shocked at how long we managed to play for! Haha. It was fun though. I watched movies, and chillaxed in the garden.

Short entry because there was nothing else to do... And since I was there, loads more aftershocks and earthquakes have struck, devastating the town even more. I feel so bad for the people that live there and can't afford to move somewhere else, and how much everything is getting destroyed.
