      ... mosaic tiles and lots of little bars and restaurants. All old but mostly well maintained. Main piazza and duomo had medieval look and were huge.       ... me :-) Over lunch Joanna mentioned a a walk to a great viewing point just pitside the old city walls through 666 porticos. I thought it would be a great idea to go for a walk after such a big lunch and a very late lunch, I think I left at around 4pm.       ... I couldn't get the first door to open - it flashed green but the door seemed to be jammed. Just as I was heading back to reception, one of the bar staff walked around the corner so I asked him for assistance. He tried and tried and tried.       ... piazza - which is supposed to be the largest piazza in Italy. On the way there was a guy at the traffic lights holding up a cardboard sign YOU'RE PERFECT - no one much seemed to be reacting to it and he just seemed to be gazing off into the distance.
