... beauties - drawers and shelves in one, and the other will be great for storing the annex, etc., so it is all falling into place. When the DMax arrives, we will pick up the van, and then the fun begins, tricking out the truck. 27/12/2014 Update. Well the van has been here for a week now, picked up by our good friend Bill Richards. We are still waiting on the DMax.... The last we heard, it was in Mackay. Looks like it has taken the scenic route. Apparently it was included with ...

... starve to death while we are away. Lynda and her face came with me again thank goodness. I spent $25 in the pet shop. The store attendant was very serious. When I saw the bill I commented that I could have bought a whole new budgie for $25. He wasn't impressed. I don't know much about Perth but I do know it's on the incorrect side of Australia. So my goals are to see the sunset over the ocean and a black ...

    ... the sun!

Today I think I am going to head to Mooloolaba for a few hours and explore. Bec has to go there for work so she's going to drop me off and pick me up after a few hours! Matt is home with the kids today. Going to go see what's around and price out some different activities for my next days off!

Hope you are all well and have survived the heat wave and tropical storm that has hit the east coast!!

    Day 113 10.05.14

A travel blog entry by daryl-sophie14 on May 10, 2014

We eventually got up around half 9 this morning. We had some breakfast and a chat with Teresa who made us aware of a prize home in the Birtinya area around half an hours drive south from Noosa. As we had no concrete plans for the day we thought it would be a great idea to go and have a walk around. We got ready quickly and began the drive down the Sunshine Coast Motorway towards Birtinya. After consulting the map for nearby roads ...

    Steve Irwin's Zoo

A travel blog entry by georgeadams1991 on Apr 19, 2014

Hit the zoo early and experienced the unfamiliar strange animals of Australia. The wombat was weird, looks like a dog sized hamster. Watched the main show in the crocoseum hosted by the Irwin family, making an appearance despite being invited to lunch with the Royal will and Kate that morning. The 10 year old son feeding a 4 metre 400kilo saltwater crocodile was impressive. Then fed it a huge hunk of meat while still attached to the rope ...
