... the site. As we approached the entrance there were a few official-looking fortress-type people but no sign of needing to pay so we wandered on in with a group of other people.
With no rain but still overcast skies the view from the fortress looking down over Hvar was the reward for the effort to climb up to the top of the hill. Spectacular!
