... and because it was such a beautiful night we all sat out on the verandah soaking in the magnificent view. It was lovely too that the ship’s wait staff & chefs were able to sit with us during dinner too. Then we were shown how to fillet a whole King Salmon which weighed 20 lbs. The chef did it easily. Today we docked at 8am in Juneau, Alaska's capital city. After a visit to the ship's gym followed by breakfast we left the ship and travelled by coach to the Mendenhall Glacier just 10km from the town centre. What an amazing sight ! Day 4 - Thursday - Red Bluff Bay Geoff joined me for his first EVER yoga class on the deck with Amy & did so well - almost enjoyed it !! and in the afternoon he took to the ocean on a standup paddleboard. He & Mark made their way about on the cold, slightly rocky water then left Mark to his own quiet solitude while we went on a kayak tour of the area with Elli.
