The tour I had booked for the afternoon was a hike along the top of a glacier, however, getting to the glacier was to be the exiting part and that was by helicopter.

After being bussed to the airport and briefed on safety etc we were all boarded into the 7 seater helicopter. Sadly I was one of the unlucky ones who had to sit in ...

After seeing the size of some bears I have no doubt who would win in a confrontation. The parking lot has bear proof garbage containers and we later found out, so does downtown Juneau. The glacier is spectacular and you can get great pictures from the visitor's center ...

... We made a stop in the Alaska Brewing Company Store, for Matt, unfortunately they don't have beer in downtown location but they have tshirts. After stopping in several store, some stops better than others. We decided to call it a day.

Our final stop before the ship: Tracy's King Crab Shack! We got a sampler, crab cakes, crab bisque and a king crab leg! It was all delicious! Not sure why we didn't order more and skip dinner on the ship.
