... Med, once again.

We toured the ruins, I stuck my toe into the Med, and then retreated back for a little siesta. We had a time change last night, and kinda screwed my clock up.

We plan on staying here 2 nights, then on to Kas.
Olympos, Antalya Province, Turkey jathomaz... people besides the two boats we were with were some like 55 year old low quality russian hookers and their clients for the night. an interesting sight. we had a fun group of people on our boat, about 15 of them and now most of us are staying at a really cool place in olympos, another beach town. chris managed not to get sunburnt and i am at a decent level of brown leather sofa.

The rapids of the ancient Köprülü Kanyon near Antalya will challenge the veteran river-runner but not over intimidate the novice rafter. Short or long courses are available. Olympos, Antalya, Turkey boatcrusieParty and Blue Cruise, 4day and 3 nights boat cruise + 1 night accommodation at bayrams Tree Houses for BIG PARTY
Sail from Fethiye - Olympos for 4 days and 3 nights of pure fun and adventure, boozing it up on deck with the onboard sounds flooding the bays by night, and swim the seas and relax by day under the mediteranean sun while sipping your cocktails or skulling your bevies, try your hand at snorkling or simply try to stay in the rubber tube as your dragged ...
Olympos, Antalya, Turkey boatcrusie... find myself analysing the "new me" in random reflections to try and discern what person the scraggly mess has transformed me into. I usually decide I look like a random traveller who has not bothered to shave for a couple of weeks, and is in desperate need of at least a little TLC ;)

Will I keep the mess? Time will tell I guess, I will decide when I next get the opportunity to do something about it!
Olympos, Antalya, Turkey chrishailstone... our boat beside some beautiful island and diving over the edge into unbelievably crystal clear 30 foot water before doing it all again after lunch! God u would get used to someone else looking after everything else for you, preserving your energy for opening the next beer or turning over to avoid pressure sores from all the lazing around.

At night we pulled into port and assaulted the local population with some long forgotten Prodigy dance or other ...
Olimpos, Antalya Province, Turkey absolutebull... the beach, collecting trash expelled by the sea during the night. There is a calming quality to the practice of collecting rubbish, leaving an immaculate beach behind for the turtles and bathers. This is not part of my job here. I do it because prefer the beach clean. It also helps me with the taming of the mind practice, as I direct my mind from the default “people are wrong for throwing trash in the sea” to “how lucky I am to find yet another ...
Çıralı, Antalya Province, Turkey yorron... when teamed with spit roasted lamb. The restaurant is packed out in summer as people escape the heat, but in May it was still a little cool. Falling water is probably the best air conditioner available. The trip down was uneventful, apart from an ancient Turkish woman who came running after us squawking and smiling at us as we ...
Cirali, Antalya, Turkey mikeandfi... the Turkish people want their historical objects back, but there is some justification to the fact that had the British not stolen them when they did, the priceless objects would have just joined the mounds of jig saw puzzle pieces that we see at every site we visit. It is an issue with no easy answers. The other thing that just had me amazed - through out the entire trip from Dalyan to Cirali - was the green houses. Anywhere there was flat ...
