On our way back we will carry the canoes back to the beach and after a shower at the small beach restaurant you can enjoy eating pancakes.
Advice: The canoe tours ...

... find myself analysing the "new me" in random reflections to try and discern what person the scraggly mess has transformed me into. I usually decide I look like a random traveller who has not bothered to shave for a couple of weeks, and is in desperate need of at least a little TLC ;)
Will I keep the mess? Time will tell I guess, I will decide when I next get the opportunity to do something about it!
... our boat beside some beautiful island and diving over the edge into unbelievably crystal clear 30 foot water before doing it all again after lunch! God u would get used to someone else looking after everything else for you, preserving your energy for opening the next beer or turning over to avoid pressure sores from all the lazing around.
At night we pulled into port and assaulted the local population with some long forgotten Prodigy dance or other ...
... beach, collecting trash expelled by the sea during the night. There is a calming quality to the practice of collecting rubbish, leaving an immaculate beach behind for the turtles and bathers. This is not part of my job here. I do it because prefer the beach clean. It also helps me with the taming of the mind practice, as I direct my mind from the default “people are wrong for throwing trash in the sea” to “how lucky I am to find yet another piece of ...
Çıralı, Antalya Province, Turkey yorron... when teamed with spit roasted lamb. The restaurant is packed out in summer as people escape the heat, but in May it was still a little cool. Falling water is probably the best air conditioner available. The trip down was uneventful, apart from an ancient Turkish woman who came running after us squawking and smiling at us as we ...
Cirali, Antalya, Turkey mikeandfi... We also made good use of the showers as we had been warned that there were a couple of rough nights of bushcamps separating us from our arrival at Goreme in Cappaddoccia. On the last night we did venture up to the flames of Olympos on the hill. The chief deity of Olympos was Hephaestus, god of fire and blacksmiths. The eternal flames are called the Chimaera and mysteriously emerge from the ground, by natural ...
Olympos, Antalya, Turkey noodlerhead... the Turkish people want their historical objects back, but there is some justification to the fact that had the British not stolen them when they did, the priceless objects would have just joined the mounds of jig saw puzzle pieces that we see at every site we visit. It is an issue with no easy answers. The other thing that just had me amazed - through out the entire trip from Dalyan to Cirali - was the green houses. Anywhere there was flat ...
