    We are in Finike marina right now and this week was Geraldine's birthday (Tuesday 29th).

    As a bit of celebration we hired a car on Monday and did some sightseeing going to Elmali, Arykanda (ruins) and to see the Chimera up close at night. Arycanda is one of the old Lycian cities dating back to the 2nd millennium BC. But the oldest remains from the city date from the 6th or 5th century BCE. ...

    ... years ago. Well good on you Julia...the spiral descents looked pretty scary. Last comment on Oludeniz...the airport which serves it has some kind of tie up with Birmingham Airport..and the town is full of Brummies. Even the waiters speak like Jasper Carrot.

    Since it was now coming up to the Islamic Eid we had to get settled in somewhere before the hordes we went to Kas, and although we loved the spot...a rocky cove where the swimming and snorkelling ...
