New place new friends. Fortaleza was cool because right when I got there we went out. Some Chileans brought a big bottle of pisco and before you know it we all were riding happy on the way to pink elephant. It's a popular expensive night club they have here in Brazil. Anyways the next several days it was pretty much the same. Fortaleza to me seems a little rough and unsafe. I'll admit I had a good time here and my portuguese is getting ...

As we come to the end of our Brazilian adventure we had the pleasure of achieving one of my ambitions of watching Brazil play football in Brazil in a major competition. Slightly disappointing 0- 0 game but at least we got a point and good to see some of the youngsters play. We'll take what we can. More beers ...

... 150 kms up the coast to visit the renowned beaches of Morro Branco, Praia Das Fontes, Canoa Quebrada for a ride along the beaches in Dune Buggies and whatever other nonsense we could conjure up. Now this turned into more fun than just an excuse to expand our carbon footprint. Aside
from the requisite trip through artisan markets that cannot be avoided, the first stop was at Morro Branco and a fascinating set of labyrinths worn ...

    Travelling to Fortaleza

A travel blog entry by andyhill on Jun 26, 2014

Travelled to Fortaleza today, has been a rough day.. Our flight from Manaus to Forteza had one stop over in Belen however we didn't have to leave the plane which was so mint. We also bumped into Simon Harrison, a dude that went to Uni in Wellington. He was travelling with his family and was randomly on the same airport leaving at the same time and on the same plane as ...
