Had a horrible flight on United Airlines as everything had a cost. Went to bathroom during the flight and there was someone in the small room changing his clothes. They didn't lock the door so I tried to enter, eeeeek!!! Fat, hairy man naked!!! I returned to my seat without relieving myself.
I got to see the Amazon river at sunrise and took pictures. We ...
Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil guiser11.36pm, somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean
So you thought you’d just be getting my usual witty blend of information and facts about my current location, ah? Well think again, *****es, because having lured you in with my insightful musings on travelling and tales of mad women in Sydney hostelries, I am now going to force an impromptu film review on you. You will listen to whatever thoughts I have to think, peons, and you will like them. Oh yes. Anyway.<br ...
Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil suzlouaSao Paulo is a bit rubbish. That's no huge surprise- even Brazillians of pretty much every other town will tell you that.

Our travelling went okay. Ferry from ilha grande was fine. And then our bus from Angra to SP was over an hour late in arriving. At that point we were very glad we hadn't gone for an overnight bus with tight connection in SP. But we took the opportunity to sample more local pasties- chicken good, meat okay, cheese ...

São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil warty007... for the Karnival. I told him about our attempt to party the previous night and he laughed his ass off. “Dude, yesterday was ashes Wednesday!, nobody goes out that day”. Obvious, if you think about it, people stay home after 4 days of non-stop party. The stop in Sao Paulo was ****, like this post. Lets move on.
Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil captainflint... laughing when they realised Hamilton had taken over on the last corner and come fifth, meaning that he won the championship. Then Ed was the one laughing! Everyone was really friendly though and came to shake his hand and say no hard feelings. The atmosphere was really good. As we left the bar later on we could see all the helicopters landing to pick up the drivers etc. There were so many helicopters! A really good day! The next couple of days we spent in Sao Paulo ...
Sao Paulo, Brazil edandali... for 15 Real (thats about a fiver in sterling). You didn't help yourself here, the staff brought slice after slice after slice to your plate and kept piling them on even when you had plenty already. They had some weird and wonderful flavours too including chicken and cream cheese and chocolate and banana. The following day we did some much needed trekking practice as we did a 16km round trek to the other side of the ...
Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil iceice17... to totalitarianism and how its pretty much doomed to fail. It was kind of dry, a bit boring, and tough to get through, but it was interesting. I had told myself that I just needed to finally get through it so that I could actually start a new book. I have started reading 'Still life with Woodpecker' by Tom Robbins. Thompson recommend Tom Robbins and said I would enjoy it. So far its really clever and witty, I like it. On Tuesday ...
Sao Paulo, Brazil chuckonearth... you were wondering, there were no intoxicants in that IV tube, the body was simply realing from several days of extreme heat and perspiration. I was truly lucky to get the attention I needed; oddly enough, it seemed like everyone else there was getting treated the same way! Got a headache? You need an IV. Stomach pains? IV. It took 3 days, incidentally, for the dizziness to go away, but I'm back to my self now, drinking water and getting rest more diligently than before.
Sao Paulo, Brazil murdock... give her an "Eu te mato," which means "I kill you," and sounded a little harsh. Whatever fate the future held, it was only Georgia who could ease my angst-filled state of mind. She didn't seem to care about me too much, though; before she'd see me again, SHE left ME to travel, taking her dad up on a weekend trip to Rio. Irony at its cruelest. There were lots of options for things to do that weekend in Sao Paulo. I carefully considered all the choices, then finally ...
