... We sailed to an old volcanic islands with sharp black rock sticking up. We walked to the top with explanations from the tour guide along the way. Santorini has the worlds largest undersea crater. There was steam rising up and the smell of Sulphur as we walked along. Our next stop was to thermal springs on the other side of the island where we all jumped over the side into cold water which warmed to bath temperature the further we swam up ...

From Mykonos to Santorini we took a fast ferry which was behind schedule by 1 hour.
We were greeted by our tour guide who took us to our hotel - the Astir Thira hotel which is right off the main road. We walked into town and ate at Mama's house restaurant. Then we took a bus and went to see the sunset at the famous spot in Santorini. It was very special ...

... It was a bit gross, felt oily or something and the clay/muddy water stained everything. The ocean though, was beautiful. We went snorkeling off the boat which was a lot of fun. There were fish to look at, sadly like in Thailand and those other 'well used' tourist areas the coral was all dead and there wasn't a lot to see down there. Again, we met cool ppl on the cruise and hung out with them, had a few drinks and ate tummy food which has ...
