... No thanks! Bangler road is more of a people watching area for us and we have seen some sights along there! I’d say the older and sleazier the guys are the more ladies they have literally flocking over them! Only for a free ride and at a price obviously. I was talking to different people and basically the bars hire young (very young) girls to attract customers into the bar, then when the men buy a “working girl” a drink its double the price of any drink on the ...

    Travel day to USA!

Travel day :( I have dreaded this day for 18 days. Not because I want to stay in Thailand but b/c of the travel. Up at 3:30 for a 4:30 45min taxi. We had a 1.5 hour flight to Bangkok. Then a 4 our flight to Taiwan. So far that was enough. We circled the airport a few times and we were late. There was no time for food or potty, we ran with our bags to make the flight to LA (this one is a can't miss ) it was delayed a little so we caught our breath and boarded, they did a last min seat ...

The weather was very gray, but just being out on the water was nice, and the group was small ...

... cool feeling as there are no cars. We signed up for a day trip that took us cliff jumping, snorkelling and to 'The Beach' from the movie on a long tail boat. We finished off the evening watching the sunset from the boat before heading back. We found out that we could make it to the infamous full moon party on Koh Phangan and luckily found transportation and accommodation. The transportation was pretty impressive as it combined ...

... rock formations. We had nothing to do but read, sleep, eat fantastic Thai food, play games, swim, snorkel, fish, nap, listen to music, look for wildlife, Jacuzzi, and repeat it day after day for five days. For the first time on the WT, we had no decisions to make. No planning, no researching what to do each day and what historical or scientific fact to teach the girls, just sit back and ...
