But for a couple of days we have been lying in bed and when we got better we had a swim in the pool. These last few days have been gross for all of us. We are all still recovering.
But I think we are good.
I have skipped a lot of days of this blog but here is what I needed to catch up on.
One day we went shopping I brought a bag and that’s it I think.
And a couple of days hanging around the pool ...
... though we paid as soon as our drinks were brought to us a waiter came over and brought the bill asking us to pay and there was a communication failure so he wasn't understanding that we had already paid. But it was sorted in the end when someone else came over :) Adam told me that when he was in Thailand a few years ago there were a couple of times when there were disputes with the bill so we've been lucky to avoid it ...
... and I had chicken fried rice and Jonny had chicken curry. It was cheaper than other restaurants, about 250 altogether. We went to Patong beach, at the end of the strip. It was a nice beach, and the water was clear blue like Nai Yang beach, but it was a lot busier, and we decided we preferred the beach we went to yesterday. We have had a nice day chilling though, and going in to the sea to cool off. Jonny stayed until 3ish then ...
... list after a morning swim is Hilfiger Fashion, to our tailor. Our favourites from other trips to Phuket, Harry and Andrew have moved on and now we have Tommy (see the photo from tonight) and the boss Mr Siam. We all choose what we want, get measured, debate the materials, the cuts, location of pockets, Genelle cajoles Mark into getting one more shirt made, he holds his line but in the end Genelle wins - so what changes in life, not much!

... for u lot coz I'd call this fuel for thought! There is a lady walking round going through each rubbish bag taking out the plastic bottles and putting them in her bag. Mark is in search for a hat.. I'm not allowed to say hat so round cap-like thing for his big head. And I have found Eric the purple duck a yellow girlfriend for 15 bht. Ahhhh love in Pai. So far at the street market we have eaten: pork on a stick, Cheesy naan, samosa, mushrooms & bacon, one big whole potato ...
