... the dam the areas are more populated along the river. We cannot figure out if peak season has just passed or is coming up as many places look so deserted. There are a couple state parks that look lovely. We might just hit a state park when we leave Laughlin.

Visited Lake Havasu City and saw the London Bridge and walked and then drove across it and touched the bricks that were from 1831. Amazing really.

I really didn't like being so low in the hire car, it just felt weird which I thought was funny because it was pretty much the same as my car at home which I've always loved - funny what you get used to hey. We stopped for coffee and then hit the coast road, which again was very scenic and pretty. We drove through Seal Beach and Long Beach but didn't pull off until we reached Huntington Beach. It's a very surfy town with another really long pier over ...

Friday - Sun was out when I landed in Las Vegas, Nevada. Diane drove us to across the hills an hour to their house in Fort Mojave, AZ after lunch at Juicy Lucy's in Needles,CA. Three states in less than 12 hours! We hung out in their pool for a bit, then went to the AVI casino for dinner with Pat and Lori (Forest's sister and her husband), who also live in Fort Mojave. I was so exhausted, and my foot hurt, but it was a good time. ...
