We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...
... headed back to our hotel to get ready for the night. We then met up as a group and walked/hiked to the castle where we tried Ouzo and watched the sunset. We then went down to the town to wait for dinner. While we were waiting for dinner as a group the waiters “taught” us the traditional Greek dancing, which is actually a lot harder than it looks. During dinner when a certain song came on, it was also encouraged to stand on the chairs or tables ...

... you spread your toes, they swim in between! Krista only did it for a bit, and was the first one to take her feet out. Bobby and I went for about 20 minutes. A group of 4 college kids came in after us, and it was fun to watch them all put their feet in for the first time. The fish seemed to like one of my feet more than the other, but my feet did feel softer after.

This island boasts more history than you can imagine.
We spent some time in the old town of Corfu and found our way back to the ship for a late lunch and a nap.
We decided to have a lazy evening as we were looking forward to being at sea all day ...
