    ... island. To the north was Oia, expensively situated for cruise and luxury seeking tourists. While this is not our style, it was fun to see and we found some very high quality art and architecture - beyond our budget but appreciated nonetheless. We also walked along the caldera cliff to catch some great viewpoints and exercise. We returned to Thira on the eastern side of the island to get a good view of the flat rural area and sea coast.

    ... co-owner (Evi) organised breakfast for us - fresh cooked omelettes, cheese puffs, toast and jam, chocolate waffles with peach and strawberry slices on top and coffee/tea - stuffed ourselves silly.
