Morning today came much too early! After running the circuit yesterday (Sabbath) we
came home, and after sunset finished packing and getting ready to leave. There
was one last trip to walmart to pick up one or two needed items (isn't there
always a last minute stop??) so by the time I was ready to turn in it was after
11 pm.

The alarm at 4:30 am seemed much to early, but as usual,
the clock was correct. ...

Our favorite Tucumcari motel was The Blue Swallow. At 80 bucks or so a night, there are cheaper rooms out by the interstate...but none with the personality of these. Everything looks original, including the garages to park your car right next to your room. ...
