... The other night I was rewarded with a superb showing of the Northern lights. Spectacular! We stayed out for three hours and it was chilly, but a hot chocolate and maple sugar cookie saved the day! The lodge is also beautiful. This is where the kitchen, lounge and bar are. There are also 5 rooms in the lodge on the second floor. The ones facing east are called the sunrise rooms and the ones facing west are called the sunset rooms. They both have nice views, although the sunrise rooms are better since you won't see any of the pipes and they, of course, offer the best views of the sunrise.

... 7 titles that are not related to the christian god, of which there are several on Tibetian Buddhism and others on Zen and Meditation. I guess this is a christian dominant community. But I was very surprised and disappointed to not find any books on native religions that section. Maybe they were placed elsewhere?

I headed back to the hotel afterwards to pickup my luggage and head back to Old Town to catch my flight to Blachford Lake Lodge, which I will cover in my next post.
