Pun for the amazing hot tub and beautiful lakes in surrounding towns. I would love to return to this hotel some day!

After staying out until 3am last night we still all managed to get up by 8.45 and out and about by 10 (ish). We walked to Vintgar gorge which had been highly recommended to us by our hostel owner, although she failed to mention the one hour ascent in blistering heat. Shout out to Anna for map reading and leading us all the way there, only helped by a couple of road signs and the occasional local to check that we were on the right track. Stopping halfway at a café was ...

... going on to the Savica waterfall and a punishing climb that nearly killed me. This definitely counts as another touristy thing to do as the place was packed and we were charged money, much to Liza's horror. We then drove around more of the area, called Bohinj, before ending up at Kranjska Gora, the aforementioned ski resort, where we had our first non-camp lunch nearby (a massive pizza seeing as you ask).

... for petrol, groceries and lunch in there so not to bad a day. We are camped by a lake by Villach in the South West of Austria. Its only a one night stop before we head to Croatia tomorrow. Yes Austria is beautiful to drive through and I wish we had more time to explore all these lovely places. Maybe next year? Still pleasant temperatures. Hot in the day but not scorching and cool at night so you can ...

... and I tried the traditional cream cake which is number 1 on the 'must do at lake bled' list. Give it 2.5/5 At 2pm we were back outside waiting for our transport to white water rafting. Our driver was a bit late, and didn't make up for it with his driving skills. All slightly traumatised by the drive even with the amazing views we got ready for rafting. Got back into wetsuits and wet shoes and a very odd shaped helmet. The outfit was even more flattering for Lucy ...

... the lake, it was very chill. We have to get up early tomorrow, however Katie's a bit worried about sleeping after walking into the shower room and seeing a man who was showering without the curtain closed. Good luck to her for sleeping tonight. So glad we came to Lake Bled, it's so pretty and lots to do. Our hostel owner has covered a map in exclamations marks and circles with things we should do whilst we're here. Think she forgot we're here only 2.5 ...
