    We stayed at Bill and Kat's horse farm for four days. First time we had dried camp and the campsite was the best! On Kentucky bluegrass overlooking the horses in their paddocks. I didn't know KY was so beautiful! Kat's horse Queen Song just had a foal. Queen Song is a pedigree thoroughbred but was let go by Clairborne Farms for unruly behavior. But after coming to their farm she calmed down and has become a great mom. QS is white but her foal ...

    We were making our way towards Lexington Kentucky to do some bourbon drinking but it was still a little too far away to do in a single drive. We spent the day driving through the winding roads of the Appalachian Mountains. When we entered Kentucky I was surprised at how foresty it was.
