    ... back across city to train station. OMG !! hills, more like mountains to climb, but did come across worlds windiest road, lombard street. Back to hotel via train & shuttle for long soak in bath & bite to eat.

    ... our stay in San Francisco. It was very windy from the overlook, so we enjoyed the view and walked through the old WWII military base located there before driving across the bridge and into the city.

    We finished out our day in the city by wandering around Golden Gate Park, where the boys went discing and I walked around to some gardens and other view points before joining them on the course. For such a large city, I thought the park might be dirty ...

    ... Huh - would have been better to buy in New York, I'm thinking. The Macy's ones were all very good quality, I presume, and priced to match. I'm not so sure a cabin bag needs to be top quality as I will be more in control. The airlines have absolutely trashed one of our bags - it's held together with duct tape - thank you Stephen! A cabin bag will enable us to offload some of the weight from our suitcases and make them legal. Will see what we can find. Maybe a visit ...
