Wow.

I have never seen anything like what I saw last night. New Years in Mauritius has to be seen to be believed.

The day started with an obligatory fireworks shopping run. You have to love that you can buy all the fireworks you want at the local supermarket. Pa Problem!

... look extremely small and narrow, the back streets in bad condition. Route Royale which is the main road looks very small. On our way to where our shop used to be, we stopped by Magasin Chez France. They sell school books, magazine etc. It is quite a unique shop when you go inside and see the amount of books. ... We ''talked'' about our hourses and after some troubles Lara and I working now in shifts 6 days a week. one is doing the morning shift: 7.30-13.30 the other one 12.30-18.30 so much better now only we don;t have free during the week the same time.. so Aisha is a really support for both of us.
