... and weak tea for a couple of days, I was able to make an afternoon journey ( a 2 minute walk) with Hilary and George to Anjelika Cinema to see The Imitation Game, a terrific film about mathematician Alan Turing and his efforts to crack the Enigma Code. It's a lovely old cinema, generally showing more of the art house range, and the film was very engaging. Italian was the order of the night so we found ourselves at Bistro Milano thanks to Google Maps - fantastic food and service, best so far, and a price to match of course :-) Home for showers and bed for the boys and once settled Melinda and I headed down for a drink at the bar to land out the next couple of days and relax. ... shopping store for another couple of hours then mosying along home via the tube and bus. It was my first away more than walking distance in the dark night and I was feeling really relaxed. Downtown New York is full of bright young things working and the vibe was much like downtown Sydney except heaps more of them. Everyone is polite, waits in line, helps you out if you ask - Im super impressed.

Till tomorrow!

Very nurturing.

We had planned to catch a ferry ...

The exec lounge is busy, crowded just like NY! However we find a seat, the lovely girl gets me some gluten free bread and we have a good breakfast , fruit , cereal , yogurt , toast , eggs ( boiled) and juice. Off exploring and a big morning straight to the top of the rock lookout where we see all of manhattan island , magnificent! No queues, no crowds and what an amazing building. Down to 5 th ave and Saks, Michael Kors and St Patricks cathedral. Another candle for Owen . ...
