Nothing could prepare me for what I would experience so far in China. Most people would think that the teaching aspect would be the most difficult to adapt to, but I have thoroughly enjoyed my time teaching in China so far. She walked me out of the market and about half a mile to her friend's Jade Shop. She let me pick out about 30 pieces that were reasonably priced, drove ...

... city, had several European concessions and is the site of China's oldest brewery. The drive to Binzhou from Beijing is 4-5 hours and goes through Hebei province, the location of a lot of manufacturing. The day we left Beijing was pretty bad for smog, and it didn't really improve as we left. Binzhou is a city of only 400-500 000. Though apparently the birthplace of Sun Tzu (author ...
