      ... d be able to swim with some. I was braver this time and wore flippers, the current is really strong so they made it a lot easier to get back to the boat if I had a panic! This site was a lot better, the coral wasn't as colourful as I'd expected but it was still the best id seen. There weren't many significant fish but the sea turtles made up for it. The guide went looking for some and called us over, it was amazing to see but it was asleep on the coral. ...

      As we drove round and down into Airlie Beach and parked up opposite the sea, to get our bearings and find the hostel Nomads we planned on staying in, we had a few quiet moments just taking it in.
