... it at night to watch the sunrise. After
looking at photos and thinking about hostels and things like that we decided
that we would climb it at night so that we wouldn’t have to worry about a
hostel or anything like that. So, to prevent myself from freezing to death at
the top I went out and bought myself a fancy waterproof jacket. Its electric
blue, very comfortable and only cost me 160 yuan ...

kids would find it lame and boring but I’ve found that if you get really into it
they become more invested so it’s worth dancing and making a fool out of
yourself in front of all the students.

Today itself was pretty good, all my afternoon lesson were
cancelled because the students had some sort of year group activity so I went
home did a bit of cleaning and attempted to bake another cake. This time ...

... us to lunch. After waiting for ages and pointing at every
Chinese guy saying “is that him” he finally turned up looking very nervous and
very surprised to see all of us. Adrian quickly introduced us (but as he didn’t
have an English name couldn’t tell us the guys name) and we headed off for
          something to eat.

In china a lot of people make their living being a street
vendor and cooking food on the streets, they sell all kinds ...

... ll see what im taking about) it’s not too bad in terms of taste
but it’s very sweet. Anyway this stuff was everywhere, there were kids running
around with gigantic slices of cake with double the icing, ice cream cones
filled with the stuff, kids that were trying to sell me icing sandwiches and
even kids that must have just bought a bag of it because there face was
covered. They had heaps of other stuff to, like sushi, chicken sticks, noodles,

... that step at least 5 times. I had kids gluing the whole thing the bottom of the
cup and not cutting it up, some kids cutting up paper and gluing it to the
plastic bags, kids gluing the plastic bag just onto the front of the cup… it
was hard to tell whether they were just trying to be different or just had no
idea what to do. In the end though it all worked out and I managed to convey to
          the kids that ...
