'To starfish' / meeting a seadog
In WW2 the Greeks said 'no' to the Italians and so a
national holiday (Oxi Day - 'No Day') is held on 28th October. Keen to take
full opportunity of the three day weekend and the chance to explore an island
before the winter, we booked ferry tickets to Paros.

Paros Island
... the boat and swim at will. We were surrounded by other yachts and sailboats at anchor enjoying the same peaceful setting we were. The small village on the island was the best so far for photography and we finally utilized Eva Maria's kitchen to prepare a group dinner.

Kastro here we come
After a decent nights rest, we had breakfast and decided to visit Kastro. It is a previous capital of the island and is like an open air museum. I think it is quite a magical place and I am amazed as to how few people visit.

Hot hot hot
... cool. One was so small, that Trev only just managed to fit down the narrow streets between the houses. The locals even came out of their houses to see who it was in the van, haha.
