... un Queensland, the waterfalls were more a water trickle, so I wasn't impressed, but Lilli was, so it was worth it to have gone.

There were elephant trekking rides at the waterfall, but as I am philosophically opposed to elephant trekking, we gave it a miss. I did wonder, though, what it must have been like to see elephants in the wild. They are a truly amazing animal.

We walked through all the tourist stalls and jumped in for the ride ...

... it actually took our breath away. We went to photograph one lovey Buddha statue and noticed some open doors, crumbling away. When we looked inside we found a room full of Buddha statues, some with the sacred dress around them and some with offerings in front. It was bizarre and an unexpected find! We found a few mummified monks too on our day out. This surprised us as there is the one at Khunaram Temple that gets top billing for being the unique under decomposed body of a monk, ...

... managed to catch one and follow it up with a decent throw, earning herself an ice cream as the result of a bet. It was then time for some happy hour drinks before heading back to the hotel to change for dinner.

Hopefully it will be quite a quiet one tonight as we've got a very early start in the morning so we can go on a snorkelling trip.

... the hill. So one by one I picked them up and put them over the wall, the last fluffy one ran away so I had to chase him. Luckily he was easy to catch and I put him with the others. Mum was watching me but she didn't seem bothered. So I walked down the hill and to my great delight all seven of them followed me. I couldn't believe my luck they followed me all the way to the den right past mum sitting on the rock. I felt like the pied piper, I was so relieved all the pups where finally ...
