Our ferry from Koh Tao wasn't until 3pm so we just hung about the hostel for a bit. When we got to Koh Samui, we got a taxi to a hostel and checked in. It was great because our room had 6 beds so it was just us six sharing a room, and it was so cosy with a great pillow and a proper duvet. We decided that four days on Samui was enough and booked our van, ferry, songtheaw, and several busses to Bangkok. The sleeper train from Surat Thani was fully booked two days in advance, half moon masses i think. The bus is cheaper, and cheaper is good. We'll pass through the capital enroute to Kanchanaburi, Erawan National Park and the Thai Burma railway to pay our respects.
