... to go and explore the south of the island which is off the main route. Almost immediately you could feel the difference. Barely any people around, only small towns and the odd restaurant. And kilometre after kilometre of beautiful countryside. This is what we were after. Having driven for a while, we ducked off the main road and up a concrete pathway. What came next was exactly what we'd been looking for - perfect unspoilt jungle with nobody in sight, just a few beautiful houses at ...

We had a short wait before boarding but N.W started the day well by having a beer. The boat ride was slow and swayed a lot. ... the waterfall which was beautiful. We all enjoyed the experience and then went back to the hotel to recover. The youngsters stayed around the pool whilst Alan and I headed for the beach in search of Calamari for me and an ice cream sundae for 'Big Al' . The day was finished off with a massage and an excellent Thai meal. Josh tried the crab however it required a lot of effort I fear for maybe not as much as meat as he is used to. Off to Koh ...

... An off road bike or car would be better. With just a 40km coastline its hard to get lost although Emma tried hard. Nomads emptied after half moon so the evening was a quiet one until Lulu (marseille and male) turned up with a scooter bar full of Pastis and Whiskey. He donated the latter to me and we produced a birthday cake for Will who's 25th birthday it was. With Yuki's birthday tomorrow and Nomads booked up this was an opportunity to chill out before it got ...
