    The adventure begins

    ... the 25th year of the German reunification (1989). They were expecting thousands of people in Frankfurt and we actually ( on Saturday night) watched the major event on the TV. Dinner was at a very small local eatery where we had pork and potatoes ( of course) and wine. We sat at long wooden table with style. A neighborhood German place full of locals and fun to experience. We returned "home" and settled down for the night.

    Travel has ended BUT the memories last forever!

    ... throughout my day. My eyes also for leading the way. I found this out the hard way with my distractions I missed a marker and ended up walking an extra two mile or so. How many signs do I miss in my daily life because of distractions~ and end up taking the wrong path? Hopefully I will learn a lesson when this happens. More on this later. My feet are very important~ definitely my mode of transportation during my Camino :). But on this walk ...

    ... courses in the area. Their Board of Directors, including my friend Rocky Goode, a top longtime Southeastern Conference football referee, does a great job in hosting it, and the people who put it on are first class in every way. I was especially impressed with Volunteer TV Channel 8's Vice President of Community Promotions Dino Cartwright, who made everyone feel welcome and did a great job as Master of Ceremonies on the final day.

    ... is to find meaning~ purpose~ search that deep place in the center of my being. Your probably thinking why couldn't I do that in my own backyard ? :)
