I arrived in Reno on July 3 to visit with the grand girls for several days.
July 7 - Overnight to Kings Beach on Lake Tahoe with grand girls, Bernadette, and B's mom.

We went on the outskirts of the Lassen Volcanic National Park and saw some lava fields but didn't stop since we had seen enough. ... big mountains in the distance. There seems like there is a lot going on here. We visited with a quilter friend from Anchorage that lives here now and it helps to know how much she likes it here. I will say that it has been beautiful weather here and hearing that Anchorage had snow today when it was 80 here confirms wanting to live in a warmer climate. I am a little homesick, but not for winter.
