... are gone tomorrow, I already changed flights for Saturday the 9th.
Our last dinner was at Madre Tierra, Mari and I had been there before and we kind of remember that it was good. On our way to the restaurant the girl got some souvenirs and we had a nice dinner still sharing our shark experience.
After dinner we all went back to the condo to finish packing and to get some sleep, the transfer to the airport is at 8:30 in the morning.
It was a great day!

We said goodnight to Hanneke & Huib and as we made plans to see them the following day Stuie turns to Huib and says " if you guys come by our place to find us, just call out "breaker breaker 'Kirst kiiirst' rum to coco come in" and then we'll know it's you. The 'panty ripper' drinks had definitely done their job as we all erupted in laughter at the idea of this walked talkie hilarity. After a huge day of travel and a couple of drinks ...

Playa del Carmen was a small little fishing village 20 years ago, and at one stage was the fastest growing city in the world. It is still a smallish city (pupulation 150 000), but still expanding due to a massive tourist trade. Situated right in the middle of the fabulous Maya Riviera, more or less half way between Cancun and Tulum, it is not as glitzy and commercial at Cancun, and not as bohemian and laid back at Tulum. so we have had a lot of fun in playa del carmen but we need to continue on our trip going to valladolid and you can see what we were doing when we were not doing tours and other stuff like that from the pictures below.
