... and a puffer fish. Not to mention schools of smaller fishes taking shelter in the shallow water from predators. Emboldened by how awesome snorkeling was, I went snorkeling at a dive site called eel garden. All was well till I found myself in water ~2 feet deep and saw a moray eel glide past me. In case you don't know, moray eels are infamous for taking chunks out divers stupid enough to tempt them. I swam away as quickly as one can in shallow water. ...

... to come into their shop or restaurant and if you don't they'll say see you tomorrow and you say yes probably! My alternative so far has been to workout very complicated routes across town to get to wherever I'm going and not to disappoint these people, but it can't be like that forever!     ... of the day to spend sightseeing en route to the border as we had planned.

    We did the worlds fastest visit to Qumran! Drove in to the carpark, showed the kids the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, took some photos and drove off again!! There is a great visitors centre there but that will have to wait for another time!

    It was really interesting driving South as we had not been along that road before on this trip. We could see the Dead Sea in ...
