Rio is a great city. Take the best of Durban, Cape Town and Mozambique and you have Rio. Easiest way to explain. Walked and ran Copacabana and Ipenima. Santa Teresa was beautiful. The tiled staircase. Watched a football match at the Maracana. Flumengo vs Fluminense. Local Rio teams.

Went outside Rio to Petropilas. Was beautiful. More in next ...

Oh my goodness, has it really come to the last blog account from us?! Where did 3 months go? Ah yes I know where: touring the whole of the Australian East coast and outback, visiting Fiji, driving the west coast of the states, seeing the amazing nature in the national parks, gambling in vegas, climbing the inca trail all the way to Machu Picchu, and hopping over to Brazil to see the delights of Rio, the beauty and serenity of Ihla Grande, the stunning architecture ...

... I have ever had an actual conversation with. He was also incredibly sweet and offered to take me around his town.

When he actually emailed to make plans, I was a little confused and wondered if he was looking at the right business card. It was unnerving and frankly, awesome. He picked me up in his bullet-proof VW and with his impressive Canon, off we went on an urban adventure. With ABBA stuck in my ...
