This morning we met our group who we will be trekking with.our tour guide came in singing Prince of Bel Air so it looks like we're going to have fun already. He is called Nik and he will be our trek leader and driver. There are 13 of us altogether - me and Azz, Kevin and Verity, Kyle, Suzanne, Abi, Kirsty, Stacey, Mari, Lowry, Elleen and an American girl called Audra from New York. ... WHAT???!! I was deeply offended. My palate is very broad hence why my stomach is thank you very much. (But I didn't say that out loud of course) I'm not sure if I'm over that comment even now, I think if a French person said it then fine but an American??? Hmmm. There was a bit of a group visit going on when we were there, and the place is really tiny, so it was a tad squishy… and kinda problematic with all the noise, considering we were doing an audio tour! The guide with the kids kept apologising and asking us to hang back a little from the group.
