Arrived for two nights of island hopping. We had heard rumours that this resort was nice, but nice doesn't cut it. Although more European than the other island resorts, blue lagoon was perfect. The water unimaginably blue and crystal clear, the restaurant is al la carte and gourmet, the cocktails are really good especially the pinàcolada, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
We stayed in a lodge with a shared bathroom. The room was very nice and the shared bathrooms very well maintained. We received beach and shower towels and also had a little seating deck. The resort is a bit more expensive than the others however it's totally worth it. There are also many daily activities along with kayak and paddle boards to hire out.
This was our favourite place in Fiji!

Staff are so friendly and always willing to help you, management are lovely, the villas are perfect (spacious and clean), plus the food is AMAZING! Cannot fault this resort, I would recommend anyone to come here. Thank you to all the staff and management for making it a fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful stay there, the resort is not too big. You get into contact easily with nice people. The staff does a super job with the week programme they have.
The beach is wonderful. And the reef for snorkelling close.
BUT one thing: They should tell everybody on their arrival, what a reef is, that it's not stone , what they see underwater, but coral. NOT TO STEP ON CORAL. NO WAY. YOU KILL IT.
People are very careless. Don't let paradise be spoilt!!!

Flying from Queenstown with a stopover in Auckland, I finally made it to Fiji. Bula means Hello in Fiji, and you hear Bula all the time in Fiji. After spending a night in the mainland town of Nadi, it was time to take the ferry to the Yasawa Islands. The ferry is named the Yasawa Flyer, and it's a big Catamaran style speed boat. The boat was full, …

The other person then swam right over the measuring tape writing down only what was directly under the tape, in regards to benthic life, meaning any type of coral, tunicates and zooanthids. After performing tasks, we switched roles. The second role is definitely more time consuming and precise, but it was fun identifying the things we knew. On Friday, we would have no access to any boats, so on Thursday we had our fun dives. On the morning dive, we went to Cathedral ...

Had a try in the kayak with me infornt and james behind did not work v well and almost capsized a few times and kept going round in circles:) Had a few games in the evening with crab racing, dancing around a table and last one to pick up a potato was out (basically musical chairs) international karaoke, fijian dancing. ... is a really nice dive site and we saw many cool-looking fish and sea creatures. The highlight if the dive, and of my week, was seeing a turtle! It was so incredible! It swam right out in front of us and we were hanging in mid-water all staring at it, so impressed. It was amazing! We didn't have lunch until three o'clock that day and spent the remainder of the afternoon, just hanging about. This morning, we had breakfast at eight o'clock and then, the usual base clean ...

Another blustery day with the sea too rough to swim in. But we can think of worse places to be stuck in! Breakfast included sausages (1 each!) that's a first. Rained on & off although the sun is hot when it comes out! Lunch consisted of egg fried rice (Mark even had a bit of egg shell) but not very nice! Managed to go snorkelling twice out to the coral ...
