... hot in the Palouse area compared to the mild temps we enjoyed in Montana. We did have a special treat of seeing a rainbow at the base of the falls! I know, I know, we should have stayed home, snuggled against the cold and snow, but...it's my birthday and we thought we should go somewhere and celebrate. Not quite the truth, but here's how it happened:
