... in a radically different part of the world. This past semester I completed a World Religions class to prepare for the trip, and learned about many different religions including Buddhism, which is very prevalent in South East Asia, namely Theravada Buddhism.
I hope to learn a lot.

It was a really big day of travelling today. We woke up at five in the morning in New York, because our flight was leaving at 8 from La Guardia Airport. We said goodbye to our New York apartment, and then goodbye to New York City as we drove out of it on the highway. When we got to the airport there was next to nobody there, which made checking in and going through security a breeze.
