... than we have seen so far. The family run restaurant as part of the complex (I use the word complex loosely) opened at 7:00. We are Canadians so we sat on their patio and watched the olive wood being brought in for the pizza oven, the oven being lit, the pizza dough being kneed into balls and stored in the warming drawer, the pizzas being made and thrown, the pizzas being topped, baked and then either delivered to us or into boxes as they were picked up. ...
... the counter, waited 15 minutes (we were second in line), only to be told the flight was overbooked and they could not change our seats. Luckily, the young man that was about to sit beside me agreed to take Rob's seat in row 25 so Rob could move back to sit with me. Good leg room on this plane, but not nearly as good service or food as on the way over. Never thought I would miss those steaming hot towels we got on the Lufthansa ...
... down to our place to be safe and to watch as it burned and spread a bit before the fire department finally came from somewhere (they apparently don't have one here). It was a bit too close for comfort but I guess what happened is that the men chopping around the olive trees had not cleared the brush at the base so it caught and spread. Not sure of the whole story. We were the only ones that seemed worried though.

... and dancing. Even my aunts got into the spirit and joined the conga line and were constantly being dragged in to dance. Truth be told, I think they loved it!! The wonderful thing here is that families attend these things, so you have children dancing with their siblings, their cousins, parents and grandparents. It was wonderful to watch and be part of.
