The end and the beginning
Well, the semester of student teaching is over, and with it comes the true end of my formal education at Luther College. And with the end of school should come summer, so I find it only fitting to hop over to the southern hemisphere and find a few months of summer. New Zealand here I come.

My last few days at home
... The flight was delayed an hour but we got $6 meal passes so it isn’t too bad. Behind me is three people who I think are from South Africa. They have slightly British accents but are very hard to understand. It’s just hit me that when I arrive in Johannesburg it’s going to be New Year’s eve.
